Greenroads Bootcamp at Cal Poly Pomona
Dear students, faculty and friends, You might have heard about Greenroads, the sustainability rating system for roadways, bridges and transportation infrastructure. As part of our efforts to learn more and better understand “sustainability” we invited them to our campus and they kindly agreed to present a half-day workshop on Greenroads on Friday February 27th. This is a great opportunity to learn more about sustainability and sustainable design and construction practices for infrastructure projects. The following topics will be covered: · Environment and Water · Access and Livability · Materials and Design · Construction Activities · Utilities and Controls The seminar is presented by Dr. Jeralee Anderson, Executive Director of the Greenroads Foundation. Dr. Anderson will also talk about the Sustainable Transportation Professional (STP) credential and how students and professionals can earn this certification. C
