Committed to Sustainability: Green Government Summit Less Than a Week Away! From water conservation and climate change to electric cars and energy efficiency – sustainability has moved from concept to implementation. California government is leading the way - and in many cases, sustainability is either being mandated or highly incentivized. The 2010 Green California Summit, the largest green government conference and exposition, is taking place at the Sacramento Convention Center March 15-17. March 15 is a pre-Summit day with in-depth full-day workshops and other special events. March 16 & 17 are the Summit and Expo dates. Interested in a career in the transportation industry? Submit your resume for the 2010 WTS-LA Transportation Resume Book! WTS-LA will be accepting resumes from undergraduate and graduate students, both male and female, who are graduating in 2010 and seeking full-time employment in the transportation field after graduation. The deadline for resume submission was originally Friday, March 12, 2010, but has been extended to Friday, March 19, 2010 . The resume book will be distributed in CD format throughout the first week of April to our WTS-LA sponsors for use in their employee recruitment process. WTS-LA sponsors include transportation agencies responsible for the most interesting projects in Southern California, and consulting firms involved in local and national projects.
